Rebekka Koehl
Ryland Homes – Chicago Division
Vice President of Marketing
With home construction on the rebound, builders need talented and experienced leaders who can seize these new opportunities. One such leader is Ryland Homes’ Chicago Division Vice President of Marketing, Rebekka Koehl.
A 13-year veteran of the industry, Koehl has seen it all, from the breakneck pace of the boom-times to the challenges of the post-boom years. Her career has included roles in many aspects of the business, an experience that has given her a multifaceted perspective of the trade. This has also allowed her to build a strong network of business professionals.
“I’m a lifelong learner,” Koehl says, “and Ryland offers me the opportunity to always be learning something new. I also love a good challenge.”
As the nation’s fastest growing public homebuilder, Ryland has provided no shortage of challenges for its VP of marketing. Already this year, Koehl has
helped open six new communities, reopen a dormant community and launched new smart-technology sales centers.
Ryland’s nationwide success aside, Koehl ensures that the company’s emphasis stays local. “I think it is important to focus on each community and local
area marketing,” she says. “I’m very focused on building relationships within the communities we build in and networking with professionals in the industry.”
Koehl looks forward to opening more communities and continuing to build Ryland’s reputation as “a builder who cares.”
