Nick Libert’s unique background gives him one of the most well-rounded perspectives in real estate. After obtaining his law degree and serving on Elkhart, Indiana’s city council and county board, he developed an understanding of the relationship between the government and real estate that has become invaluable to his clients.
Fifteen years after being licensed, Libert is the proud owner of Exit Strategy Realty, which now has more than 60 agents and reached $60 million in volume in 2012. The company offers its agents unique marketing and client relationship management systems. Libert has big plans for corporate growth and is determined to meet his goals. Exit Realty International has given the agents at Libert’s office several hundred thousand dollars in residual bonuses since 2009, which has greatly increased the team’s value proposition.
“My goal is to have 100 agents, $100 million in annual volume and the No. 1 office in the U.S. for the Exit Realty franchise,” he says. “I won’t rest until we are there.”
To that end, Libert has expanded his office this summer to include a new training center and more conference room space. Libert strives to train his agents so that they have a rewarding business, not just a profitable one, and looks at training and technology as investments in his agents. He also takes pride in providing them hands-on training himself.
“Agents must maintain value and improve their skill set in order to improve their business,” he says. “I love having the ability to show my team how it’s done — how to create meaningful, lifelong referral relationships.”
