Known for her personal style, Monique Washington was meant to stand out. The vivacious, well-educated Realtor went into the industry with a solid understanding of how to deliver great customer service and the ability to juggle multiple deadlines, thanks to her experiences in corporate America. Clients rely on her for market expertise, and enjoy their experience because she solves problems with a positive demeanor. Her clients most often come from referrals, because past clients know she delivers.

Constantly working and educating herself to stay at the top of the industry, Washington continues to hone her skills by networking with people inside and outside the industry, reading daily about industry trends and listening to what her clients want.

“Listening intently is key,” she says. “Quite often, buyers may not know what they really want, so I listen and watch them. I don’t overpromise, but I work with integrity. I strive to exceed their expectations.”

Washington recently joined the Women’s Council of Realtors, and is working towards getting more involved in committees at the Chicago Association of Realtors and the Illinois Association of Realtors. She also holds a position on the Advisory Board at St. Thomas the Apostle Catholic School in Hyde Park, and looks forward to contributing to each dynamic organization while adding value to the fabric of her community.
