One of Chicago’s top-producing lending professionals, Leslie Struthers was named a top 1 percent originator by Mortgage Executive magazine, and she continues to lead her field with her unmatched ability to get even the most challenging loans to the closing table.

Licensed in 15 states, she possesses both a thorough understanding of the parameters of today’s marketplace and the communication skills to explain such nuances to her clients – an important trait, she says, in home financing.

“Clients appreciate direct communication that’s honest,” Struthers says, who is the preferred lender for the Lincoln Park 2550 development. “If they know what to expect up front, they leave satisfied. Setting expectations and clearly knowing any issues going into the deal are key.”

Struthers’ success has done little to quell her ambition, and she has two main goals for her mortgage business: one, to change the face of lending by making it simple and easy for people to buy, or keep, their homes; and two, to become the top-producing woman in the industry.

In addition to her mortgage business, Struthers is also passionate about animal rescue, and is a member of PAWS, the World Wildlife Foundation and the North Shore Animal Rescue League.
