Having endured a frustrating homebuying experience before beginning his career, Lopatin entered the industry with a simple rule: treat every client like his mother.

“Follow that rule, and you will always be successful in sales,” he says. “I always put my best foot forward, and I’m very respectful. I never judge or make assumptions. I also educate my clients instead of trying to ‘sell’ them. People do not want to be sold; they want to understand. Sincerity and honesty always prevail.”

“My father is an immigrant and came to this country with nothing,” he says. “Through hard work and determination he was able to earn an honest living and provide for his family. Whenever I get discouraged or encounter a challenge I think about the hurdles my father overcame, and I quickly regain my focus.”
