The new home marketplace in Chicago is poised for its strongest year in some time, and Deborah Beaver is one of the most pivotal players in that recovery.

Recently Beaver joined the DR Horton group to help grow the Emerald Homes brand throughout the Chicago Suburbs, focusing on multi-lot infill development.

“The infill market will be the largest-growing segment of new housing in the years to come,” Beaver says. “Emerald Homes is positioned to give customers highly livable homes by combining luxury and function. We pride ourselves on skillful craftsmanship, elegant features and upgraded options.”

As the vice president of William Ryan Homes, Beaver oversaw the overall operations of William Ryan’s Chicago division. That work included everything from land acquisition; creating products for today’s buyer; overseeing the sales, purchasing, production and closing departments; and finally, the responsibility for the profit, loss and growth of the homebuilding division.

And though she’s worked in real estate for more than 28 years, Beaver still loves helping consumers fulfill their American Dream of homeownership. “There is no bigger high in life than helping someone get into their new dream home,” she says.
