Nancy Tassone
Senior Vice President, Sales
Jameson Sotheby’s International Realty
When looking back on 14 years in the industry, Nancy Tassone credits her knowledge of the home- building process for making her an invaluable asset to clients.
“My mentor was a builder, not a real estate broker,” she says. “He taught me to believe in myself as well as my ability to sell, and gave me a chance when I had little experience. Those kinds of breaks are invaluable in any business, and since then, I am always willing to help new agents find theirs.”
Since that big break, Tassone has successfully paved her way. She was first recognized in 2005 as part of the National Association of Realtors 30 Under 30 list. Since then, she’s been named a Chicago Association of Realtors top producer every year.
“A few years ago, a wave of confidence took over, and I realized I really consider myself an expert,” Tassone says. “People were seeking my advice, especially in the new construction department, and I felt confident that I could help them and tackle even the toughest issues. Every year in this business truly makes me a better broker.”
With over $350 million in closed sales over her career, the University of Wisconsin-Madison alumna has certainly earned her place as Jameson Sotheby’s senior vice president. She regularly serves clients in Chicago and does so with her casual-yet-confident business style. Her motto of, “Stay calm, solve problems, and carry on,” keeps her driven and focused every day.
“My clients refer me to others because they know I will take great care of whoever they send my way,” she says. “I work very hard to either sell my clients’ homes or find them new ones. People regularly tell me, ‘this could never have happened without you,’ and that’s when I know I’ve done my job.”
