The North Shore-Barrington Association of REALTORS® (NSBAR) remains committed to its mission and its service to “One Member at a Time.” This includes significant contributions from its charitable arm, NSBAR Cares, to local organizations like the Highland Park Community Foundation, Evanston Scholars and Barrington High School. Also, NSBAR has empowered its agents to achieve new heights, developing networking events with industry leaders and unique educational opportunities. Last November, the association received a national award as a National Association of REALTORS® (NAR) YPN Network of the Year.
As NSBAR president, Luigui Corral believes NSBAR is the “cool” association. Under his leadership, Corral has focused on engagement, playing an integral role in finding ways to revitalize membership through new messaging on social media and beyond. He brings his extensive industry knowledge and enterprising spirit to his role as president, being the first Latino person to hold the position in the association’s history. Previously, he served as president of the Chicago chapter of the National Association of Hispanic Real Estate Professionals (NAHREP), and he’s been a board member of Midwest Real Estate Data (MRED), the local multiple listing service, for four years.
NSBAR’s youngest president-elect and its first of Middle Eastern descent, Ethan W. Nagar has a five-generation family legacy in real estate that includes hundreds of homes and thousands of apartment units built, renovated and sold across Chicagoland. After becoming an agent in 2021, Nagar quickly established himself as a top performer. His most notable achievement to date is selling the most expensive property in McHenry County last year. However, his success extends beyond individual sales. He is the founding president of the Jewish Real Estate Association of America (JREAA), with Corral serving as co-founder.
NSBAR CEO Jeff Lasky supports NSBAR by creating a working environment that encourages collaboration and fresh ideas. Over the years, he has been a regular contributor to and participant in many industry organizations.
