Sean Ronkoske doesn’t just do what’s necessary — he goes above and beyond. “I’m very competitive and won’t stop until I’ve given my clients 110 percent,” he says. As the owner of First Class Realty, Ronkoske works with buyers, sellers and investors throughout Cook, Lake, McHenry and Kenosha counties. While he’s been in the industry for 15 years, Ronkoske only started First Class Realty in 2012. But in that short amount of time, the team has expanded considerably — it’s considered one of the fastest-growing real estate offices in Northern Illinois. For the past two years, it’s been the top office in his area.

Ronkoske is proud to say that even with the team’s growth and success, he’s continued to maintain a boutique office rather than join a larger corporation as a franchise. “I love what I started and wouldn’t change it for the world,” he explains.

Ronkoske won’t settle for anything less than the best for his clients, always committed to providing them with whatever it takes until they are satisfied, a feat that comes naturally. “My negotiating skills and understanding of the business have continued to set me above the rest of my competition,” he says.

This year, Ronkoske’s proudest personal accomplishment was striking a balance between his business and his personal life. “I’ve been able to spend a lot more time with my family,” he says, noting that it’s been a consistent challenge throughout his life in part due to his unwavering work ethic.

Ronkoske is a member of the Lakes Area Association of Realtors, the Mainstreet Association of Realtors, the Illinois Association of Realtors and the Wisconsin Association of Realtors. He’s also an active member of his community, sponsoring annual food drives to help those in need.
