Midwest Real Estate Data President and CEO Rebecca Jensen was elected board chair of the Real Estate Standards Organization’s board of directors for the sixth year in a row.
Besides the MRED leader’s reelection, eight other board seats — four representing technology companies and four representing MLSs and Realtor associations — were filled after an election by RESO membership.
RESO is an independent, nonprofit organization that develops the data standards and processes used by multiple listing services. Members include MLSs, brokerages, Realtor associations and technology companies.
The technology seats were filled by:
- Ethan Bailey, senior director, software engineering and technology, Cotality
- Bob Evans, senior vice president, industry relations, Realtor.com/Move
- Eric Stegemann, CEO, Solid Earth
- Dan Troup, CEO, Broker Public Portal
The MLSs and Realtor associations seats were filled by:
- Katy Davenport, director of product management, FMLS
- Shayne Fairley, COO, Stellar MLS
- Melissa King, COO, OneKey MLS
- Janine Sieja, senior vice president, product development, Realtors Property Resource
“The campaign for technology company seats was particularly competitive this year,” Jensen said. “Innovation is at the core of creating data standards, and we are thrilled by our tech community’s willingness to lead the organization forward with the MLS, association and brokerage industries.”
The board also made director appointments and named its executive committee for 2026.
The board appointed these directors:
- Rebecca Jensen, CEO, MRED
- Richard Renton, CEO, Triad MLS
- Michael Wurzer, president and CEO, FBS
- Joseph Szurgyi, CEO, MLS Grid
- Dan Ray, director of product development, REcore
- Matt Hendricks, vice president – industry affairs, Zillow (board advisor)
- Ross Buck, CEO, Omni MLS (board advisor)
It also named these members to its executive committee:
- Chair: Rebecca Jensen
- Vice-Chair: John Breault, vice president, MLS, State-Wide MLS
- Secretary: Melissa King
- Treasurer: Richard Renton
