Illinois REALTORS® held its 107th Inaugural Gala & REEF Benefit on Sept. 17 at Hilton Oak Brook Hills Resort. More than 300 Realtors and guests attended the black-tie event.
There, Tommy Choi, of Weinberg Choi Residential, was inducted as president. He is the first Asian-American president in the association’s century-plus history. Previously, he served as treasurer for the association and led the Chicago Association of REALTORS® as president in 2019.

“Our association has stood up to every challenge that has come our way, and it continues to provide value to members and even those who challenge the relevancy of our association’s great work,” Choi said in a statement.
With that transition, Matt Silver, of Corcoran Urban Real Estate, became immediate past president. Jeff Kolbus, of RE/MAX Traders Unlimited, was named as president-elect and Debbie Prodehl, of Coldwell Banker Real Estate Group, was inducted as treasurer.
Six new members were also appointed to the association’s 2024–2025 Board of Directors: Matt Difanis of RE/MAX Realty Associates; Brian Kwilosz of EXIT Real Estate Partners; Carrie J. Little of CarMac Realty Group, LLC; Mark Massey of Berkshire Hathaway HomeServices Select Properties; Ethan Nagar of Jameson Sotheby’s International Realty; and Matt Persicketti of Oak Leaf Realty.
