An industry veteran with nearly 30 years of experience and more than $2.2 billion in career sales, Jennifer Ames can confidently manage just about any situation. She has a deep knowledge of Chicago and keen attention to detail, which has earned her various industry awards as well as Engel & Völkers’ (E&V) exclusive Private Office designation.

Currently the licensed partner of E&V Chicago, she enjoys coaching advisors and teams, networking with international E&V colleagues and working with both buyers and sellers. While she doesn’t specialize in a particular real estate niche, she’s demonstrated success selling architecturally significant homes, like vintage condos and co-ops, new construction and high-end single-family homes. However, she works with all types of clients and properties, from first-time buyers to estate sales.

Overall, she considers marketing savvy her core strength. An experienced writer, architectural photographer and former film producer, Ames can craft compelling messages to connect with target audiences; she also excels in rebranding homes previously on the market.

Outside of work, Ames served on boards at The Art Institute of Chicago and the Lincoln Park Zoo and supports organizations that aid underserved youth, immigrants and the LGBTQ+ community.
