Property technology startup company Luxury Presence has unveiled Presence Copilot, a platform that serves as an AI-powered “mobile assistant” — and the idea came from Dawn McKenna, leader of the Dawn McKenna Group (DMG).

McKenna, who specializes in luxury listings in Chicago and Naples, first scaled the DMG from five to 20 agents through the help of Luxury Presence and soon developed her own mobile app.

McKenna’s original app included features like comprehensive listing data and neighborhood analyses, as well as a collaborative search for agents and clients to compile home search data in one place. The tool became a major means of communication within the DMG, and also between buyers and sellers.

Eventually, Luxury Presence acquired that mobile app and partnered with her and her team to develop Presence Copilot as it’s known today.

Integrated with over 270 Multiple Listing Services, Presence Copilot compiles sold, active and pending listing data as well as market insights. The platform also includes collaborative search features to help clients and agents stay on the same page when it comes to property searches.

“We believe AI is the biggest technology shift since the invention of the internet. It will transform how the real estate industry works, and we’re tapping into it to give agents superpowers,” said Malte Kramer, founder and CEO of Luxury Presence. “Presence Copilot eliminates mundane daily tasks and gives agents the tools to provide a memorable client experience every time.”

“I started building this app to give my team a competitive advantage,” McKenna said. But now, she is excited to share the app with the public. “We’re competing but we’re also sharing,” McKenna said of the real estate industry. “The more we share, the more our industry grows. You get what you give. If I can give something that can help other people, that’s what we’re going for.”

“AI is the future,” McKenna added. “Agents who don’t adapt will be left behind.”

In addition to the app’s AI-powered search features, the platform includes a customer-relationship management system that can be edited with voice commands, as well as location-based search services to help agents stay in-the-know while on the go.

Luxury Presence raised $19.2 million in its latest round of funding for Presence Copilot, bringing its total funding to date to over $52 million. A nationwide launch is planned for early 2024, with over 3,000 users already on the waitlist. The app will be available for a fee of $60-80 per month per agent, with significant discounts for teams and brokerages. App usage will be free for consumers.
