Coldwell Banker Real Estate Group has acquired d’aprile properties, an independent brokerage which operates throughout Greater Chicagoland.
Since its founding by Ryan D’Aprile in 2011, d’aprile properties has grown to include 11 offices and more than 380 sales professionals. In addition to selling properties in and around Chicago, the company has expanded over state lines to Lake Geneva, Wisconsin and Michigan City, Indiana. According to a press release, last year, d’aprile closed nearly $1.2 billion in sales volume.
The firm will become part of the Coldwell Banker Real Estate Group. The acquisition marks major Midwest growth for Coldwell Banker which now controls 70 real estate offices across four states: Illinois, Indiana, Michigan and Wisconsin.
In the press release, D’aprile shared his excitement over partnering with Coldwell Banker President and CEO Mike Prodehl. “We are thrilled to partner with Mike Prodehl and the Coldwell Banker Brand,” he said. “I love our company and agents and found, after getting to know Mike, that this is the best next step for our family of agents to move forward together … This is a win-win for our sales professionals, our support team and our clients.”
Prodehl expressed similar enthusiasm. “The addition of Ryan and the remarkable agents of d’aprile properties not only expands our footprint in the region, it further strengthens the brand in our marketplace,” Prodehl said. “We are thrilled to welcome d’aprile properties to our family-owned company.”
Congrats Ryan & Mike!
