by Emily Mack

Michelle L. Feola has joined Berkshire Hathaway HomeServices Chicago as vice president and general counsel for both the firm and its affiliated title company, Fort Dearborn Title. In that position, Feola will oversee legal matters, regulatory issues, compliance and leasing.

Prior to taking on this leadership role, Feola had an established relationship with BHHS Chicago. She served as an outside counsel to the company through the legal team Fuchs & Roselli, Ltd. There, Feola handled a variety commercial litigation, with a particular focus on real estate law. “Michelle’s knowledge of our company and the real estate landscape, both from local and national perspectives, is impressive,” said BHHS Chicago CEO Diane Glass.

In addition to her time at Fuchs & Roselli, Feola has served as an Assistant Cook County State’s Attorney. She is a graduate of Fordham University and earned her J.D. from Temple University in 2003. Feola is also an active member of both the Illinois State and Cook County Bar Associations.

A press release from BHHS Chicago notes that in her free time, Feola enjoys spending time with her family — and reading “anything other than legal documents.”
