The managing broker plays a critical role in helping to shape the entire office culture. Whether it’s at a boutique or large firm, the managing broker is often viewed as the leader.
Throughout this challenging year, managing brokers have had to lead their teams through unprecedented and uncertain times. COVID-19 has dramatically changed what in-office culture means, with agents working from home all the time. This means that managing brokers have had to get creative and take initiative to foster a strong, positive office culture, despite agents’ working from home and being on their own.
In this issue, we asked three managing brokers what it means to be a leader in 2020. Though they all have different strategies in leading their respective offices, the one thing in common among them is their steadfast, strong resolve to keep their agents engaged and hopeful, while compelling them to do their best work.
If you are a managing broker, I’d love to hear about how you’ve helped to support your agents and ensure a strong office culture during these difficult times. Send me a message at will.mendelson@agentpublishing.com.
