As senior vice president of residential sales at Baird & Warner, John Matthews is passionate about using his 35 years of real estate sales experience to lead other agents to success. Matthews has managed offices in Lincoln Park, Oak Park, Naperville, Glen Ellyn, and La Grange and trained more than 1,000 agents. In addition to national recognition for his expert sales training and management, Matthews has built a reputation as a highly professional, friendly and caring leader. Before he began training others, he was a successful agent himself, gaining special expertise in sales of vintage, unique, and luxury properties as well as commercial real estate consulting.
Matthews’ influence resonates outside Baird & Warner, too. He has been on the boards of Midwest Real Estate Data, the Mainstreet Organization of Realtors and the Chicago Association of Realtors. He currently sits on the National Association of Realtors’ Top 75 Large Firms Directors Forum.
