In an effort to target potential buyers in a particular area, HomeSpotter added a new feature that does exactly that. Through Boost by HomeSpotter, real estate brokers are able to connect with likely buyers on social media. Now, brokers can additionally promote open houses directly on the GPS navigation app Waze through ads.
The new feature makes it easy for prospective buyers to learn about open houses in an area they are already in or will be in soon. Brokers now have the ability to promote their brand in specific areas as well as inform potential buyers of current open houses.
Within a few hours of using the feature, Berkshire Hathaway HomeServices Fox & Roach reported that it reached more than 500,000 users through ads on the Waze app, while tens of thousands of people were invited to open houses once their car stopped in a certain area.
“Automated real-time promotion of open houses on the Waze platform represents a phenomenal branding opportunity for Fox & Roach,” said Rajeev Sajja, vice president of digital innovation at Fox & Roach. “This represents a great compliment to the existing Facebook and Instagram open house and listing promotion services HomeSpotter is already providing for us. We are also excited to begin promoting our coming soon listings on Waze as well.”
Other companies such as Homesnap have partnered with Waze to give agents the opportunity to target buyers who are driving in an area where a listing is nearby.
“HomeSpotter wasn’t the first to introduce Waze advertising to the real estate community,” said Aaron Kardell, founder and CEO of HomeSpotter. “However, we believe Waze advertising is best leveraged for promoting open houses immediately before and while they are happening. HomeSpotter provides the first automated system that allows large brokers to leverage this huge branding opportunity while assuring that they are only promoting open houses near the time that they are actually open for viewing by the general public.”
