Coldwell Banker Residential Brokerage in Chicago announced on Feb. 3 that it has acquired the assets of Organic Realty, also in Chicago. Coldwell Banker’s real estate operations already include 52 offices and approximately 3,500 independent sales associates in Chicagoland, northwest Indiana, southeast Wisconsin and southwest Michigan.
Now, with the assets of Organic Realty, they will be able to expand into more areas of Chicago, such as the northwest side, and the northern suburbs of Chicago. Coldwell Banker is of NRT LLC. This acquisition further expands the reach of one of the largest residential real estate brokerage companies in America.
All previous Organic Realty operations will now conduct business under the Coldwell Banker brand, while the sales associates will be working out of Coldwell Banker’s Edgebrook office.
The president and COO of Coldwell Banker Residential Brokerage in Chicago, Fran Broude, says she is excited to have acquired Organic Realty associates for their insight in the customer real estate experience.
“This acquisition provides us with a key opportunity to further expand our sales efforts to clients across Northwest Chicago and beyond,” she said. “Organic Realty brings to our company an innovative vision and a seasoned group of highly productive professionals. We’re thrilled to gain their expertise as we look to further enhance our customer real estate experience.”
The firm’s former owners, BJ Tregoning and Rich Mell, will both continue with Coldwell Banker as independent sales associates.
“Coldwell Banker Residential Brokerage is widely known as a trusted leader and innovator within real estate,” said Tregoning. “We couldn’t be happier for our independent sales associates to now have access to a more comprehensive marketing value proposition, as well as the education and leadership guidance necessary to take their business to new heights,” added Mell.
