What do you consider a “fashion don’t”? I stay away from super trendy pieces. Nothing makes a woman look old like desperately trying hard to look young.

What is your favorite piece of clothing and why? For me, it’s a great tailored blazer. I like to keep this quote from Coco Chanel in mind when dressing: “Dress shabbily and they remember the dress; dress impeccably and they remember the woman.

What do you consider a must-have accessory? A statement piece of jewelry, handbag or scarf.

Where are your favorite places to shop? Neiman Marcus, Barneys New York, Banana Republic, J.Crew and Zara.

What was a fashion crime you’ve committed in the past? Too much glitz or sparkle.

What, besides your wardrobe, completes your look? A smile. It’s the best makeup any girl can wear.
