On Sunday, March 2nd, the Conlon Coolers joined more than 3,000 participants who braved the elements and accepted the challenge to plunge into the icy waters of Lake Michigan, all for a good cause –Special Olympics Chicago.

The Chicago Polar Plunge was a huge success and among the participants were celebrities like Rahm Emanuel and Jimmy Fallon. Although the water temperature was 32 degrees, the air temperature was 10 degrees, one of the coldest days for this event. The Conlon Coolers raised close to $6,000 and their donations will support year-long programs for children and adults with intellectual disabilities.
