Coldwell Banker is pulling together for Ronald McDonald House.

The Coldwell Banker Residential Brokerage offices of Elmhurst, Clarendon Hills, and Hinsdale will once again participate in the Ronald McDonald House Charities of Chicagoland and Northwest Indiana’s Annual Pulling for the House fundraiser on Saturday, August 17 at the McDonald’s Plaza in Oak Brook from 4:00 p.m. – 9:00 p.m. The Ronald McDonald House Charities provide a home away from home for families to stay in while their ill child is being treated at a nearby hospital.

Teams from each office will compete in this tug of war style competition to pull an 80,000 pound semi-truck for their chance to be the Pulling for the House Champion. Participants can expect a barbeque, kids’ carnival, and lots of truck pulling throughout the day at this fundraiser.

“Few situations place greater stress on parents and families than the news of a loved one’s diagnosis of a life-threatening disease or trauma,” explains Nancy Thunberg, manager of the Elmhurst office. “We are thrilled to participate in this event year after year as it is our Foundation’s mission to providing housing, care and comfort to those in our community.” The Elmhurst office is continuing to raise funds and has already exceeded their goal.
