Coldwell Banker Residential Brokerage has announced the addition of broker, and former Chicago Bears player, Desmond Clark and his partner Maria McDaniels to the realty’s Arlington Heights office.
The duo will be a part of The Stick With Steve Team, led by broker Steve Cohen, and will service the northern suburbs of Cook and Lake Counties. In his new position at Coldwell Banker, Clark will specialize in investment properties, foreclosures, institutions and work with builders.
The Real Estate Playing Field
Prior to joining the Coldwell Banker team, Clark played in the NFL for 12 years, making his career debut with the Denver Broncos. After playing with the Miami Dolphins in 2002, Clark moved to Chicago and played tight end for the Bears from 2003 to 2010.
Throughout his career, Clark has received numerous accolades both on and off the field. He was recently named Mentor of the Year by Congressman Danny Davis and was awarded the Ricky Byrdsong Award by the Illinois Fatherhood Initiative for Father of the Year Honors.
Despite his years in the NFL, Clark is no stranger to the real estate playing field. He served as a licensed broker in Florida from 2006-2007, according to a press release from Coldwell Banker. The brokerage’s resources and customer service were some of the reasons Clark chose to join Coldwell Banker.
“By tapping into the company’s vast resources and tools, [McDaniels] and I will be able to grow our business and service our clients,” he said. “We look forward to utilizing our networking skills and building long term relationships.”
“A Win-Win For All”
Several members of the Coldwell Banker team have expressed their excitement over the addition of Clark and McDaniels to their sales roster, including Cohen.
“By combining [Clark’s] relationships, and our 23 years of business experience, it’s a win-win for all of us,” said Cohen.
For Stephanie Szigetvari, Coldwell Banker Northwest broker manager, Clark and McDaniels are a “great addition” for one of the brokerage’s established sales teams.
“I am happy that The Stick With Steve Team has two great additions,” said Szigetvari. “The team has a long-standing reputation in the community and is one of the most respected teams serving the Northwest suburbs.”
