The La Grange office of Coldwell Banker Residential Brokerage recently hosted its Annual Chili Cook-Off to benefit the Coldwell Banker Charitable Foundation. Founded in 2007, the charity supports 22 local housing-related causes that directly benefit the needs of the communities.
The event raised a total of $4,700 for the Coldwell Banker Foundation and had over 200 people in attendance to taste a wide variety of home-cooked chili for a good cause.
“I am very proud of our agent’s commitment to this charity. Housing-related charities are close to our hearts at Coldwell Banker, so getting involved in this fundraiser was something the agent’s in the office became extremely passionate about,” explains Tricia McEneaney-Riberto, manager of the Coldwell Banker La Grange office. “Our 30 gracious sponsors from the western suburbs were also critical in helping us host such a successful event.”
More than 55 Coldwell Banker agents added appetizers and desserts to the festivities and a total of 20 chefs competed in the cook-off.
Adam Butusov was the winner, while Susan Breen took home second place prize. The winners were chosen by attendees who casted their votes for their favorite chili.
