Each year, the Midwest Real Estate Data (MRED) Board of Managers elects officers from among their ranks to guide the company through the upcoming year. This year’s officers were recently announced, and bring an immeasurable level of experience to the table, according to MRED CEO Russ Bergeron.
“In my short time as CEO of MRED, I have had the pleasure of working with all of these gentlemen,” Bergeron said, “and I am fully confident that they are capable of leading us through the next year and beyond.”
The new leadership team consists of President Rob Schaid, broker/owner of RE/MAX Plaza in McHenry, Richmond and Wauconda. Schaid has been a real estate practitioner for 12 years, served as treasurer for the past two years and has served on the board since the birth of MRED in 2008. “I could not be more pleased that our board has the confidence and trust in me to take on the responsibility of president of MRED,” said Scheid. “It is a very exciting time to be in real estate and I look forward to serving with such a distinguished group of Managers.”
Elected Vice-President Al Rossell, broker/owner of the Jack Carpenter Organization, has been a real estate broker and appraiser for 45 years and has served on the board since 2008, as well. Treasurer Chuck Dinolfo, is the broker/owner of Century 21 Pro Team headquartered in Tinley Park and has been a real estate practitioner for 26 years. Dinolfo has also served on MRED’s board of managers for the last two years. Secretary Tom Guttilla, broker/co-owner of Coldwell Banker Today’s Realtors, has been a real estate practitioner for 33 years and has served on MRED’s Board of Managers for the last three years.
While excited to have the service of a distinguished and experienced new group of officers, MRED saw the end of the terms of a number of talented individuals who helped guide the organization since its inception.
“I commend the board members and the staff I have been working with for their dedication and commitment to MRED,” said Dean Rouso of Baird & Warner in LaGrange, after serving two successful terms as president. “I look forward to MRED building on the many accomplishments of the board from these past four years.”
“I have loved serving on the board for eight of the last nine years,” said Jim Nelson, Jr., former vice president of the board and broker/owner of RE/MAX Suburban based in Mt. Prospect. “I have learned so much from the experience and hopefully contributed a little, as well. MRED has made such great strides under the leadership of CEO Russ Bergeron and what I would call the best staff anyone could ever ask for. Dean Rouso has done an exceptional job as president, and I am confident MRED will continue in the right direction for years to come.”
“On behalf of MRED, I thank the talented and dedicated individuals who have generously given their time to this organization,” added Bergeron. “Fortunately, we will continue to have the participation of most of the previous officers on the board of managers. We could not ask for better-qualified or more committed individuals than those who volunteer to sit on our board. It is no accident that MRED is experiencing such great success and stability.”
