The top producing agents from Coldwell Banker Residential Brokerage, including President’s Club member Gloria Matlin, gathered at an annual business retreat to learn about market trends and competitive strategies for 2012.
Agents had the opportunity to attend breakout sessions focused on new tools and strategies to help increase business. Matlin, who is a consistent top 2 percent producer nationally, represented Coldwell Banker’s online Lifestyle Search tool, which locates the neighborhoods that are best suited to clients’ individual personalities.
Held at the Grand Geneva Resort and Spa in Lake Geneva, Wis., the President’s Club retreat also included a market update from Coldwell Banker president and COO Fran Broude.
“We place high value on celebrating our agent’s successes and providing opportunities for them to grow their businesses,” Broude said in a press release. “They are the leaders in our company as well as the overall marketplace, and insight from Gloria Matlin is invaluable, especially in today’s challenging real estate market.”
In preparation for the retreat, Coldwell Banker surveyed President’s Club members to discover some of the keys to their success. In their answers, the respondents consistently cited the importance of staying up-to-date with technology, as nearly three in four President’s Club members shoot listing videos, four out of five recommend connecting with clients through social networking, and 70 percent own some sort of tablet.
Matlin has lived in the North Shore area for more than 30 years and currently resides in Glencoe with her husband.
