Alvia Baker of DuSable Realty and Appraisal won the $1,000 American Express gift certificate at a broker party held by The Columbian on May 10th.

Thirty brokers attended the event, which showcased the new three-bedroom model and offered tours of the residential high-rise, located at 1160 S. Michigan Avenue. All of the Realtors in attendance entered the raffle for the $1,000 American Express gift certificate. In addition, they were told about the 4 percent commission offer on select residences.

The Columbian features homes that range in size from 844-square-foot one bedrooms to a three-bedroom penthouse that is more than 3,500 square feet. The diverse property sizes feature finishes that include granite countertops, stainless steel appliances and hardwood floors in the living areas. Prices start at $299,900 for one bedrooms, $399,900 for two bedrooms and $699,900 for three bedrooms. Penthouse homes start at $799,900.
