Former Chicago Blackhawk Curtis Brown has sold his Lakeview home.
According to ChicagoTribune.com, Brown sold the four-bedroom home for $1.4 million. He purchased the home from its builder for $1.56 million shortly after signing with the Blackhawks back in 2004.
Despite an initial four-year contract, Brown only played with the ‘Hawks’ for one season before they bought the contract out. He was then picked up by the San Jose Sharks as a free agent.
After leaving Chicago, Brown rented out the house and then put it on the market in 2007 for $1.79 million. He made numerous price reductions before one more renting stint and finally selling this year.
Curtis Brown now plays hockey in Switzerland.
