Dream Town Realty, the Chicago real estate industry’s leading online company, announced the addition of three agents in October. Lauren Shimmon, Amanda Parker and Riz Gilani all offer home listing and purchasing services in the Chicago area.
Lauren Shimmon is a short sale certified Realtor and partner with the Rizzo Group, which specializes in short sales and distressed property transactions and is at your service through Dream Town. Shimmon’s extensive background and partnership with one of Chicago’s leading foreclosure law firms enables her to provide buyers with the best chance to find good deals. She has helped numerous distressed homeowners get out from underneath their properties, as well as negotiated many short sales and foreclosures for her buyers. “It’s important to me to educate my clients, understand their concerns and guide their expectations, as I believe buying a home is the best investment you can make in life,” says Shimmon.
For Amanda Parker, real estate is a family affair. Parker’s family has been among the top-producing agents in Chicago for the past 25 years, and she has spent the past year as a partner who negotiates directly with banks and lenders with the Rizzo Group. Parker has become quite familiar with all the ins and outs of the distressed sales industry. “My childhood is inextricably tied to the real estate industry,” says Parker, “and now that I’ve gone into the family business, my goal is to learn as much as I possibly can about this market, so that I can best serve my clients.”
Riz Gilani remembers the moment he made a place his home. “I had looked for a very long time, and when I stepped inside this place, I had this moment where I knew it was the one for me,” says Gilani. “I live for helping my clients find their moment. Seeing the smile on a new homeowner’s face after closing is truly a rewarding end to a long journey.” Gilani understands the long journey often involves questions and concerns outside the 9 to 5 perimeters. “My clients know I’m available to them, day or night, well after the transaction has been complete,” he adds. “I’m doing my part to help them realize their own real estate dreams.”
