What was your first job in the realty industry? My first job in the industry was as a sales agent.
Where did you grow up? I grew up on the south side of Chicago in the Chatham neighborhood.
What is your favorite free-time activity? My favorite free-time activity is spending time with my four-year-old daughter Sophia. She loves to go to the movies.
What do you do to relax when you’re stressed? I love to go to the spa. It’s fun to be pampered from time to time.
If you weren’t a Realtor, what would you be? I would be a television producer. I have a bachelor’s degree in mass communications and media arts-radio/TV production.
If you could have lunch with a well-known figure (living or not), who would it be and why? I would say Michelle Obama. I think she is the epitome of a successful woman.
What is your favorite place to “hang out?” My favorite place to hang out would be at AI Sushi restaurant in downtown Chicago. I love sushi and it is a nice place to go to wind down after a hard day’s work.
What is the most difficult aspect of your job? Because I am rather new to the real estate industry, I think prospecting is the most difficult task for new agents.
Where do you go to network and meet new clients? I am a member of the Chicago Urban League/Metropolitan Board. That organization is a great way to network.
What has been your greatest accomplishment? So far my greatest accomplishment has been assisting my mother with her dream of opening a private elementary school. She has a doctorate in education and she has a strong passion for educating children. Our school has been running successfully for seven years.
What was the last good movie you saw or book you read? The last good book I read was “Mary Mary” by James Patterson. I love mystery books.
What is your favorite restaurant? My favorite restaurant is Maggiano’s Italian Restaurant. I love it!
Architecturally speaking, what is your favorite building in Chicago? I love the new Trump Tower. It’s modern, and I love contemporary structures.
What kind of car do you drive? I drive a silver Lincoln Navigator.

What is your favorite city after Chicago? My second favorite city would have to be Los Angeles. I love Beverly Hills’ Rodeo Drive.
In 10 words or less, what is your advice for someone new to the industry? Prospect, prospect, prospect! Also, always market yourself.
