What do you like most about being in real estate?

Baird & Warner – Chicago

What I like most about real estate is the variety of business I’ve been privileged to work on over the last 25 years. The best thing I’ve learned is two-fold: never accept mediocrity and always find a way to work on different or difficult projects. Early on, I purposely took on difficult clients and properties in order to always learn and succeed at something new. I’ve been fortunate to work on land development, commercial and homes, and have held many different career positions, too, such as ownership, franchise sales, management, education and relocation. If you like our industry, the career possibilities are endless.

What I like best about real estate is helping my clients realize their goals, whether it be finding their dream home, or selling their existing home so they can move on to their next endeavor.

Jim Stillo – Skydan Real Estate Sales

The sky’s the limit on how succesful you can be. This isn’t a nine-to-five job where you go in every day and do the same thing. It’s more exciting in the fact that you can work as many hours as you want or as little as hours as you choose. You get out of real estate what you put in, meaning you can make as large of an income as you’d like to work for. In addition, you’re helping people find the home of their dreams while making money; it’s the best of both worlds.

Helping people reach their goals is what I like the most. Buying real estate is a personal milestone, and it’s a big responsibility and an honor to assist families with their very personal choice of where to live their lives!
