To raise money for the Juvenile Diabetes Research Foundation (JDRF), Chicago Financial Services held its first annual River North Cares JDRF fundraiser. Local artist were featured, such as the Jean Albano Gallery, Harry Mintz and Wayne Cable, who displayed their art and were willing to donated a percentage of the proceeds back to the Foundation. Food For Thought catered the event and a variety of other sponsors provided donations for the raffle and silent auction. A little over $3,000 were raised at the event.
