What do you consider a “fashion don’t”?
High heels at a construction site and showing too much skin

What is your favorite piece of clothing and why?
This is a tough question! I have a few “fool proof” outfits that consist of mixing interesting pieces from my favorite designers. I find that pulling pieces together creates a fun way to express a unique style. That being said, a great DVF dress and Nanette Lepore or Rebecca Taylor suits are must haves and great go-to necessities when I don’t have a lot of time to get ready or think about it.

What do you consider a must have accessory?
Well, living in Chicago, I have to say a great winter coat. Many times I don’t even take off my coat when showing new construction in the winter, so a great coat is a must have.

Where are your favorite places to shop?
I think the best shopping in Chicago is in Bucktown. The Staples P45 and Tangerine offer unique, amazing pieces from local and hard-to-find designers, as well as great designers, like Rebecca Taylor and Development.

What, besides wardrobe, completes your look?
Feeling comfortable in your clothes and having what you wear be an extension of your personality and style.
