Built by Merit Homes, The Enclave is part of a gated community called the Reserve at the Merit Club, which is comprised of 102 semi-custom homes and 26 one-acre custom homes on 100 acres of land.
Honored with the “Best Overall Community” award from the Home Builders Association, the community was recognized for excellence in design and construction.
Some of the new homes will overlook the fairways of the Merit Club golf course or groves of mature trees.
The Enclave has seven homes to choose from, including five ranch plans and two two-story designs featuring first-floor master bedrooms. Measuring 1,800 to 3,000 square feet, homes have two to four bedrooms and up to three and one-half bathrooms, and are priced from the high $600,000s.
Starting with a basic plan, buyers can change the footprint of the house and eliminate or add rooms. They can select from the same finish level as the custom home buyer. In addition to the semi-custom homes, there will also be 26 custom residences.
Designed as a low-maintenance community, homeowners pay a nominal monthly maintenance fee, which covers the upkeep of streets, common areas, ponds and the front entrance and guard house.
Homes include oak flooring, Kohler fixtures, maple cabinets, granite countertops, full masonry fireplace, trim details, Jacuzzi master bathroom tub, cedar shake roofs, zoned temperature control, fire suppression systems and patios.
Five ranch plans are also available, such as the Forrester, with three bedrooms and two and one-half bathrooms. A great room with vaulted ceiling and fireplace has floor-to-ceiling windows and access to an oversized patio. The kitchen, with a center island and eating nook, has a breakfast room and faces an optional screened porch. To the left is the master bedroom suite with a walk-in closet and deluxe master bathroom. On the other side of the home there are two bedrooms. Bedroom two and three share a Jack and Jill bath, while the media room converts into a study, living room or fourth bedroom.
The site of the development is protected by a conservation easement.
