Coldwell Banker Residential Brokerage recently appointed Kathy Kalnes as the new regional VP for the city of Chicago and its northwest suburbs. She will supervise 17 offices and more than 1,500 agents. Previously, Kalnes served as branch manager of Coldwell Banker’s Hinsdale Village and Oak Lawn offices.

An active member of the real estate community, Kalnes is a certified graduate of the Realtor Institute, and serves on the Professional Standards committee and as a Certified Mediator for the Illinois Association of Realtors. She previously served as the president of the South/Southwest Association of Realtors in 2000, where she was named Realtor of the Year, and as director of the Multiple Listing Service of Northern Illinois.
