Construction has reached the topped-off stage at 550 St. Clair, a 26-story condominium tower only a few steps from Michigan Avenue’s “Magnificent Mile” in the heart of the South Streeterville neighborhood.

A wide range of luxury contemporary condominium choices remain available, including a selection of penthouses. Occupancy at 112-unit 550 St. Clair is expected in early December, he said.

The contemporary-style condominium residences at 550 St. Clair were designed by David Brininstool, an architect at the prominent Chicago-based firm, Brininstool + Lynch.

The reinforced concrete, steel and glass curtain wall high-rise was built on a 10,300-square-foot site.

17 units remain available for purchase. Among the choices remaining at 550 St. Clair are six one-bedroom, one-bathroom units with 800 to 1,000 square feet of living space on floors 10 to 19.
