Singer Landing is a new 42-townhome development from Lennar in southwest-suburban Lemont. With the models slated to open March 3, Singer Landing will be one of the first townhome components of Lemont’s downtown revitalization, which will include mixed-use retail, residential and office development.
Located at the intersection of Main Street and Talcott Avenue, Singer Landing will include two Everything’s Included townhome floor plans measuring 1,732 square feet. Priced from the mid-$300,000s, townhomes will include two to three bedrooms, two-and-one-half baths and a two-car garage. Two decorated models will be available for viewing.
Each home will feature kitchens with granite countertops and stainless steel appliances; volume ceilings in the master bedroom; brushed nickel hardware; and ceramic tile flooring in the foyer, kitchen and baths.
“The community is distinct in its home exteriors, which pay homage to the Village of Lemont’s history,” says Leigh Nevers, VP of marketing for Lennar’s Chicago region. “The exteriors will be made of Lemont yellow limestone and brick, which builders first excavated in the mid-1800s during the construction of the I&M Canal. This canal plays a large role in the downtown revitalization, which will include a linear public park and Canal Walk featuring landscaped walking and bike paths.”
In terms of recreation, golf enthusiasts will also appreciate that Lemont is home to the Cog Hill Golf Club, home of the PGA Tour’s Western Open.
For commuters, Lemont is located 28 miles southwest of Chicago’s Loop and 15 miles southwest of the major employment center in Oak Brook. The community is a 50-minute ride from downtown Chicago via the Lemont stop on the Metra’s Heritage Corridor line.
In addition to the retail options provided by Lemont’s downtown district, buyers will also be close to Westfield Louis Joliet Mall, Westfield Fox Valley Mall and the Oakbrook Center.
Residents of Singer Landing will be served by the highly regarded Lemont-Bromberek Combined School District 113A.
