Sienna, Evanston

Sienna, Evanston’s new development from Roszak/ADC, is a four-phase project located at the corner of Clark Street and Ridge Avenue.

Using natural Illinois prairie landscape design, as well as a few international elements, the center of Sienna will include a combination of fountains and waterfalls, gardens, multi-level terraces and various works on display from local artists. One acre of landscaping offers residents their own secluded sanctuary. The artistic design draws on a palate of color with the use of shrubs, trees, perennials and groundcover vines.

The integration of a French allée, or walkway, is the dominant feature in the project’s landscaped center. A water-themed design runs perpendicular to the allée and integrates an all-glass pool house, a water wall, terraced seating areas and a jumping jet fountain. Stone pavers form an aqua-colored walkway that connects these elements.

Sienna owners will have access to the growing number of retail shops and restaurants that are springing up all over Evanston. Nearby streets are filled with boutiques and local eateries.

Four mid-rise condominium buildings with 250 units anchor the corners of the community and surround the massive, one-acre inner park. Units in the upper levels offer views of the lake, downtown Chicago and downtown Evanston, while residents on the lower levels overlook garden terraces.
Traditional brickwork with limestone, copper detailing and an abundance of glass were used to maximize the amount of natural light and flexibility in the floor plans. The glass allows for natural light throughout the day. The use of low-E windows brings the sun’s warmth in when it’s cold outside but keeps it cool in the summer. The natural light improves energy efficiency as well, thus reducing the long term cost of heating a home during the winter.

One- to three-bedroom condominiums at Sienna range from the mid-$200,000s to $1,000,000 and include one or two parking spaces. Eighth-floor penthouses are available with trellised terraces. Residents will also have access to an on-site spa, exercise club and party room.
