What was your first job in the realty industry?
I was a paralegal in a law firm and handled the real estate closings.
Who inspires you?
My daughter, Leigh inspires me. She is facing a very serious illness, and the courage and grace she has shown are truly remarkable.
What is your favorite free-time activity?
Cooking, reading and just being with friends and family are the
things I most enjoy.
How did you learn the business?
I learned mainly from experience and the many classes and
seminars I attended.
What was the last good movie you saw or book you read?
The last good movie I saw was “Walk the Line.” As for books, Jan Karon’s Midford series was particularly good.
What is your favorite restaurant?
My favorite restaurant is Parker’s in Downers Grove.
Architecturally speaking, what is your favorite building in Chicago?
The Wrigley Building

What is your personal motto?
Always try to add some sunshine to the lives of others.
In 10 words or less, what is your advice for someone new to the industry?
You need a good background in technology and marketing and, more importantly, you need to develop good people skills. The bottom line is if people connect with you and trust you, they will want to work with you.
