To help in the rebuilding efforts of homes across the Gulf Coast that were destroyed by hurricanes Katrina and Rita, Coldwell Banker Residential Brokerage is urging Chicagoans to bid in its “Housewarming for Habitat for Humanity” celebrity charity auction on eBay Feb. 20 – March 9.

Live bidding for the “Housewarming for Habitat” celebrity auction begins at www.ebay.com/coldwellbanker on Feb. 20 with additional items being added on Feb. 27. All of the gross proceeds will be donated to the Habitat for Humanity Operation Home Delivery Fund to rebuild homes destroyed by the storms.

Some of the unique charity items include a round of golf with Academy Award-nominated actor Samuel L. Jackson; an hour in the studio with hip-hop recording superstar Snoop Dogg; a copy of the script of “One Flew Over the Cuckoo’s Nest” signed by Michael Douglas; and a soccer ball autographed by Mia Hamm.
