Of Chicagoland’s many distinguished suburbs, which ones saw the most home sales in August?

Earlier this week, we reported that August was a rough month for home sales in Chicagoland, with transactions falling by 13.3 percent from the year before.

Of course, Chicagoland is an enormous area, and some suburbs performed better than others, so courtesy of data from Redfin, we put together the following graphs, which show not only the top-selling suburbs in August, but also how those number differ when looking at single-family and condo/townhouse sales.
