Yet again, Chicago’s Near North Side neighborhood triumphed.
Last week, we reported that Aurora was the place to be for home sales in Chicago’s suburbs in November, and now, in a follow-up report using the same information from Redfin, we’ve found the same principle to be true in Chicago’s Near North neighborhood – but only in a specific sense.
Simply, when it comes to attached housing (either condos or townhouses), Near North is the place to be, with its attached home sales in November nearly double that of second-place Lincoln Park. On the detached side, though, Ashburn was once again on top, continuing its dominance of the city’s single-family home marketplace.
