Michael Pierson and Chris Eigel, partners of Prudential Rubloff Properties, announced that the second annual “A Day In Paradise” fundraiser benefitting The Sunshine Kids Foundation raised $24,000. Over 150 brokers and their guests attended the event, held on Wednesday, Sept. 19 at the Marriott Oak Brook Hills Resort.

Actor G.W. Bailey from TNT’s The Closer, and executive director of The Sunshine Kids Foundation, was present to support Prudential Rubloff’s efforts. A shotgun golf event, tennis, bingo, live and silent auctions, raffles and a buffet dinner was also included in the day’s festivities.

The brokerage donated over $20,000 to The Sunshine Kids Foundation at last year’s benefit, and hopes to top the figure this year. While final counts are still being tallied, this year’s donation will once again be in memory of Wendy Bergseth, former executive vice president and Lake Forest office branch manager.
