Three managing broker/owners of EXIT Real Estate Partners of Downers Grove received the “Brokers of the Year” award. Tom Sailer, Chris Hochstedt and Brian Kwilosz received the award at the company’s annual regional retreat on Wednesday, April 24 at CyberSport in Addison. The three were awarded for their hard work at EXIT Real Estate Partners in Downer’s Grove. According to Craig Witt, regional director of EXIT Realty, the award is based on participation, contribution and production and leadership.
“Tom, Chris and Brian have been with the company for years, and they always lead by example,” Witt said. “They’re overall good citizens and promote and support our brand in every way.”
EXIT Real Estate Partners Have Been Working Hard Since 2007
Sailer has been in the real estate business since 1999, and has been a managing broker/owner at EXIT Real Estate Partners since 2007. He has received many designations, including Accredited Buyers Representative (ABR), Certified Negotiation Consultant (CNC) and Certified Residential Specialist (CRS), which has only been awarded to 4 percent of Realtors in the U.S. He is on the Board of Directors of Woodmere Home Owners Association and the Founder/President of Exceptional Services Network. He also serves as a member of multiple Chamber of Commerce.
Like Sailer, Hochstedt has been in real estate for 14 years and served as a broker/owner of EXIT Real Estate Partners since 2007. He and his wife, Caroline, started buying properties in 1999, and they keep this passion growing by becoming landlords, rehabilitating homes, building custom homes and owning a brokerage. Hochstedt donates his time and ideas to multiple Chamber of Commerce, where he works on various committees/boards.
Kwilosz has been with EXIT Real Estate Partners since 2008, and became a broker/owner with the company three years later. Prior to his career in real estate, he worked as a computer programmer/consultant for 10 years. He also was the managing owner/chef of Thai Spice Restaurant in Aurora. He his areas of expertise include DuPage County, the Fox Valley, Western Chicago suburbs and the city of Chicago.
“I’m very proud we were selected as the ‘Brokers of the Year’,” Sailer said. “It’s not so much about the top producers or best performance of a company; it’s about the office that worked the hardest. We’ve continued to work hard, even after the market crashed, and we’ve come out on the other end stronger and better than we ever were.”
