Jodi Slutzky had an interest in real estate since purchasing her first home. “I wanted others to feel the same excitement I had in owning their own home,” she says. After a 15-year career in the finance industry, she decided to become a full-time broker in Chicago, which has proven to be a success. Slutzky has earned annual recognition since 2012 from
@properties and the Chicago Association of Realtors for being a top producer. In 2013, she was a Road to Rolex recipient, and with a total of $15 million in sales, set herself a new goal to surpass. “That was the defining moment in my career,” says Slutzky.

Slutzky believes that being certified as a financial planner is an asset when it comes to helping her clients. “I am able to walk a client through the process from beginning to end and want them to be as educated as possible as this is one of the biggest decisions they will make,” she says. She has an established team of professionals to make sure her clients receive high-end customer service throughout their relationship with her.

Slutzky works with buyers, sellers and investment property owners throughout Chicago, focusing on the Fulton Market District and West Loop. She prides herself on her ability to identify the most appropriate options to meet her clients’ needs and help them find the home they love. But even with her knowledge of the city and her financial expertise, Slutzky attributes her success to maintaining a positive attitude and remaining committed to her clientele. “In real estate where markets can be up or down depending on a number of factors, I continue to push through, set goals for myself and stay in touch with my clients,” she says. “I have started with clients who were purchasing their first home and then helped them again for their second or third home. Seeing my clients evolve is the most exciting part of my career.”

Slutzky is an avid traveler and a self-described “foodie,” and if she’s not showing a property in a neighborhood, she might be found trying out a new restaurant with her clients.
