Lake Geneva agent Stephanie Parent loves the lake, and she loves to introduce her clients to the “lake lifestyle” she and her family have enjoyed for nearly 20 years.
Parent first learned the Lake Geneva market when she and her family were looking for a second home. “We ended up purchasing a home on Delavan Lake in 2001. We moved from Bucktown to Glenview for a few years until we decided the lake was where our hearts were,” she says. “We moved to Geneva National full-time in 2005 and have never looked back.”
Parent raised both her sons in Lake Geneva. She and her family love the golf resort, lake and the lake lifestyle, as well as living in what some people might consider a “resort town.”
Parent and her team of agents were named the No. 1 team in @properties’ Lake Geneva office again in 2021, selling over $31 million. The team received “America’s Best List” ranking for teams by Real Trends for 2017, 2018, 2020 and 2021. Parent herself earned the @properties’ Road to Rolex achievement in 2020 when the team sold $48 million. She says her strong sales background is one of the skills that makes her such an attentive Realtor. “Calling on mass retailers for years taught me to negotiate and listen,” she says. “Many times, you have to come up with creative solutions to make both sides happy.”
While Parent sells to many different buyers, many of her clients are luxury buyers looking for lakefront or golf course properties. “I try to make my clients feel at ease,” she says. “Buying a home can be stressful. If you have someone who really knows the market and can troubleshoot, it can alleviate some of the stress and end in a successful closing.”
