Shaunna Burhop, Real Estate Broker

Baird & Warner, Northwest Suburban Office in Arlington Heights

Well-respected Chicago agent Shaunna Burhop strives to provide her clients with best-in-class service, innovative marketing and sound advice. Her clients tell her they always feel like a priority and receive five-star service.

Burhop has a set of questions she goes through with both buyers and sellers, saying it’s important to take the time to get to know her clients better. “Building rapport is critical to our success,” she says. “We need to trust each other.” With a clear understanding of her clients’ priorities, she creates a customized plan and makes sure every detail is attended to. She has sold homes that others couldn’t and put deals together for her buyers in a highly competitive market. “I like to solve problems and make people happy that they chose to work with me”.

In the past year, Burhop earned her Senior Real Estate Specialist designation. “I have noticed that my senior clients are often the ones most in need of an agent who will go above and beyond,” she says. “They need someone they can really trust. I’ve seen too many contractors and others take advantage of their situation. I made the decision to make seniors and their families part of my business strategy going forward.”

Burhop was recognized as Crain’s Chicago Business’ Notable Residential Real Estate Broker in 2021 and has earned the Chicago Magazine Five-Star Real Estate Agent distinction several years from 2011 to 2021. She was also named one of the top 10 Best Real Estate Agents for Client Satisfaction by the American Institute for Real Estate Professionals. “Patience and having genuine concern for others has been instrumental to my success,” she says.

In her free time, Burhop is involved with local Chicago charities like WINGS, Gerry’s Cafe, Bear Necessities and Dance for Life. She also founded Mission Community, an initiative to serve residents and local businesses by providing ongoing goodwill and support. “I care,” she says. “That might sound simple, but it permeates everything I do.”
