Megan Campbell Barnitz, Real Estate Broker and Team Lead

Megan Barnitz Group, @properties Christie’s International Real Estate

“Ensuring the client feels fairly represented, completely educated and 100 percent heard are my top priorities in every transaction.” So says Broker Megan Campbell Barnitz, team lead of the Megan Barnitz Group with @properties Christie’s International Real Estate.

Barnitz, who pivoted from pharmaceutical sales in 2003, has devoted the past 19 years to delivering exceptional service to both buyers and sellers in the real estate industry. A native Chicagoan, Barnitz learned the area and markets through osmosis. Moving from the city to various suburbs early in her career provided her with unique perspectives and market expertise.

Being a Realtor requires considerable people skills, and her client testimonials attest to that.  Barnitz says, “A real estate transaction can bring on so many emotions, especially with the current markets being so competitive and volatile. I want them to feel they not only had an expert in their corner, but also a trusted advisor and friend willing to talk them through the hard stuff.” To Barnitz, it’s this human connection that is the bedrock of a successful Realtor-client relationship.

In an everchanging industry, the need for superior technology is becoming more important year after year. Making the move to @properties Christie’s International Real Estate, a firm whose “technology is unmatched,” she says, was the key to her continued success. “They build the technology as opposed to buying it and it is centered on the premise of making the client experience better and the agent experience more efficient,” she says. This recipe for success was paramount in her winning the company’s highest accolade, the Road to Rolex honor.

Barnitz, who is a wife and mother, says, “I will forever be grateful for a job that allows me to not only help people and build relationships, but also allows me to be an example to my daughter that hard work, integrity, respecting others and kindness should be the pillars of building a successful career.”
