Loreal Urso won’t stop working until she gets her clients what they want. “I’ll go to the ends of the earth fighting for them,” says Urso, a real estate broker with d’aprile properties. A resident of the West Loop for 20 years, she serves residential and commercial buyers, sellers and investors in and around Chicago, often assisting clients with both the sale of their current home and the purchase of their new one. “It’s helpful to have one point person coordinate both transactions,” she says, noting that her clients are primarily referrals and individuals from her personal network. “It helps streamline communication and expedite the process.”
A former senior manager in finance at Allstate Financial, Urso leverages her 19 years of leadership and data analysis to guide her clients through the process start to finish as well as to educate and provide them with objective, research-backed recommendations. After a stint as a stay-at-home mom, she turned her sights to a career in real estate, fulfilling a longstanding desire to try her hand in the industry. “I have never been happier and more fulfilled with my work,” says Urso, adding that her side hustle as a horseback riding trainer has proven to be just as instrumental in her success as a broker. “Not that different from helping clients buy a house, purchasing a horse is a financially significant investment,” she explains. “And finding a great match for which my clients can thrive and be incredibly happy with is a huge responsibility. Plus, the process can be overwhelming so it’s important to provide clarity and direction from our first consultation through closing.”
Having earned Top Producer status yearly since 2017, Urso cites d’aprile properties’ training and coaching programs as key to her success. This year, she received the Platinum and Black Key awards for her 2021 sales production which was over $13 million. “I am very proud to be recognized for these distinguished awards,” she says.
So far in 2022, Urso is on track to beat her career record, breaking her 2021 sales results.
