With an innate comedic bent, Elise Jordan Elizalde worked as a comedy writer and performer for six years before transitioning to mortgage lending, quickly realizing how passionate she is about helping clients. “Hearing the laughter from an audience is indescribable, but nothing can touch the tears of joy or smiles on my clients’ faces come closing day,” reflects Elizalde. A proud Chicagoan for the past decade, she fully committed to learning her craft and all about Chicago’s beautiful neighborhoods when she made the leap to lending.

Elizalde has often been described as diligent and a fantastic partner by her clients. She credits her sense of humor and authenticity as the driving forces behind her success. “I think my clients appreciate my ability to walk them through each step of the loan process in a way that keeps them from feeling overwhelmed,” she notes. Treasurer of the Mary Bartelme Park Advisory Council, Elizalde is also a member of the Chicago Association of REALTORS® and Real Estate to the Rescue. The latter is particularly dear to her heart, as she has rescue animals at home. She is also mom to her infant son, Gus, and shares that giving birth in the heart of the pandemic only enhanced her resiliency. A die-hard Vancouver Canucks and Notre Dame Fighting Irish fan, Elizalde enjoys playing ice hockey and has a passion for spending weekends exploring the city with her husband and son.
